for greater holiday enjoyment!

aragon spain facts

Aragon, wonderful history-rich region, nestling in the north-east of Spain, and comprising three provinces - Huesca, Teruel and Zaragoza.

Splendorous Zaragoza is the regional capital - as well as being Spain´s fifth largest city.

The lack of coastline has kept traditional package holiday-makers at bay. But visitors who love the great outdoors, quaint medieval villages, and interesting historical sites will relish this beautiful region with its friendly people.

The Aragon Pyrenees is home to Spain´s oldest nature reserve - Ordesa National Park.

And children, as well as adults, will enjoy learning about far-off dinosaur days at the unusual Dinopolis theme park - just outside Teruel.

Ski fanatics will delight in the fine ski resorts of Cerler, Formigal, Candanchu, Valdelinares, Javalambre.

History buffs will devour the wonderful sites of its towns and cities.
